Misty, the owner of Misty Dawn Photography, is always your lead photographer. For larger weddings or for added perspectives, a second photographer can be added who complements her style and has been carefully selected based on skill, portfolio and experience.
Choosing a wedding photographer is quite a personal decision because you're not just commissioning the photos, you're inviting this person to share the most intimate day of your lives with you. Unlike your florist or caterer, your photographer will be present from the time you apply your lipstick often until the time the last drink is poured, so everyone getting along is helpful, beyond just the photography. I love when clients end up more like friends in the end, and keep coming back for family photos and more, long after the wedding is over.
I believe this session is an important element in achieving great wedding day images. It allows the couple to get comfortable with the photographer's style of shooting and allows the photographer to get a feel for the most flattering angles of the couple, to see how they react in front of the camera before the wedding day. Having an Engagement Session almost always ensures better wedding day photos.

In order to book Misty Dawn Photography to document your wedding event, a signed contract is required, in addition to a non-refundable $1000 retainer. Dates are booked on a first come, first served basis and your date cannot be reserved without a contract in hand.
