My husband and I celebrated 5 years of marital bliss back in May and as a tradition that started on our wedding day, roses play an important part of our anniversary celebration each year. As you can imagine, with my flare for photographing the smallest of details at weddings, flowers in my house tend to incite a bout of macro mania. The two weeks of enjoyment the flowers brought to my home is nothing compared to the enjoyment that the photos will bring for many years. I thought I would share my art with all of you, in hopes that it will brighten your day as well. Enjoy!

Well this week, Floyd (Commercial 3 Instructor) had us do Flowers….Dramatic lighting on the flower but on a white backdrop. Purpose: to control the light on the backdrop from lighting the flower….Fun assignment! Here’s my favorite pic:

Then I pulled out the lensbaby and got these!
