These guys were soooo much fun! They actually planned a couple of hours in between the ceremony and reception for pictures, which of course we LOVED! (And they’re going to LOVE just as much when they get their proofs! Here are some of my favs…

This weekend I had the great joy of shooting with…well, Joy. Joy Moody is a blast to shoot with and her enthusiasm is highly contagious, which is awesome. It was a privelege to shoot with her and I definitely hope to do it again!

Lauren was sooo excited to get married! Upon entering the ceremony aisle, she proclaimed with a giant smile on her face “HI Everybody!!” All of their guests burst into laughter and set the tone for the rest of the event. It was the funniest and most refreshing thing I think I have ever witnessed at a wedding! Here are some of my fav pics from their wedding.

I just love corset back gowns and Lauren’s was one of the most beautiful that I’ve seen.

Lauren was so giddy and happy the entire day! Between her and Joy, it was impossible NOT to smile all day!

Keith was just as comical with funny faces all day.

Those of you who know me well know how fond I am of fisheye photos…well Joy was kind enough to let me experiment with her fisheye….needless to say I am even more in love! I feel a purchase coming on soon….

A couple of the details…

Congrats Lauren & Keith!! Hope you’re having fun on your honeymoon!

Stacy happens to be Shawn’s sister. Shawn just happens to be Heather’s boyfriend. Heather just happens to have been my wedding photographer!

Heather and I have stayed in touch since my wedding 2 years ago and she asked me if I could do her a favor and come along to shoot Stacy & Harry’s wedding so that she could enjoy herself as a guest. (It’s not often that we, as wedding photographers, get to actually be a guest at a wedding because we’re always shooting them!) I was happy to be able to help her out! It turns out that their whole family is extremely laid back and the wedding was super casual and fun….it had such a wonderful family feel. I know I normally show about half of my blog images in black and white but this time I just felt like this wedding would be better expressed mostly in color. Let me know what you think.

A ring shot to start things off:

Stacy and Harry were so much fun and happily indulged mine and Heather’s many requests for photo opportunities!

Stacy & Harry have a young daughter, named Riley, and she is beyond cute! They are just the most adorable family.

Of course we had to make sure we got a shot of Heather and Shawn together too!

When it was all said and done, Stacy & Harry were such good sports that they jumped in the pool together! (still in their wedding attire!)

Dawn and Jim are such a lively and fun couple! This is another wedding I shot with Jo Vernon, of the Photo Design Group. We work so well together as a team! What she’s offering her clients is truly unique…blending medium format film and classic portraiture (her) with digital photojournalism (me!). Below are some images from this wedding.

While Jo set up for Dawn & Jim’s portraits in the church, I took Rick and his family outside for a family portrait. His wife, Amy, was the Maid of Honor and their two boys were ring bearers. What a beautiful family!

I don’t know what Jim said to Dawn to have her laughing so hard during their first dance! But I can tell you it made for a great moment!

I LOVED their cake so much that I had to post TWO pictures of it! Which one do you like best?

Susan and Jeff were married on Mother’s Day at the Delcastle Country Club. It was a small and intimate ceremony on a perfect day for photos. Susan is also the sister of a friend of mine, Christine…and let me just tell you that they were each a picture of beauty on this day.

Funny thing…When I met Sue, she asked me if I would “photoshop her beautiful” but I assure you….this is ALL her own natural beauty, folks.

Jeff was quite a handsome catch as well!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this image! I love it so much that I just ordered a 16×20 wrapped canvas print of it, to show my future brides!
